Besides school, I learned today that the gas lining was hacked and now there is a shortage. All day I was talking to people about it, and even though it doesn't affect me I still think it's interesting. It's also interesting because today was very boring so it stood out.
So after so much stress, I am finally passing all my classes, though they could be better, at least I'm passing. I honestly hate the school board for the lack of actual help they did for the students, and all this semester proved to me is how greedy they can get. They could have lowered the great average for struggling students, but instead, they did nothing.
I believe that the biggest tip I would give a new coming English students is to connect with the teacher as much as possible. In all honesty English class, in general, can be pretty boring, and students will lose interest easily. Losing their interest leads to students failing and we don't want that. So the best thing they can do is connect with the teacher and get comfortable with them. So for example occasionally talk to them about random things, even if it doesn't have to do with the subjec. Another big tip would have to be to get as much one-on-one teaching as you can. One-on-one teaching with a student is personally one of the best ways of teaching as it helps students really understand whatever the subject is.
